Jeannette Denise Parks

Jeannette Denise Parks was born in Gulfport, MS on March 11, 1960 and passed away on October 4, 2022 at 62 years old. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Jeannette (Denise to her family) was a little woman who was big in personality and spirit. She was giving, generous, and kind while also being feisty and outspoken with a servant’s heart. There are not enough words to describe everything she was and what she meant to the people who loved her. We are all better off for having her in our lives and heartbroken that she is no longer with us. We will miss her more than words can express. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joel D. Varnado and Jeannette R. Varnado, and her brother, Roy V. Varnado. She leaves behind a husband, Jimmy L. Parks, three children, Charlene D. Oatman (Chris), John D. Parks (Barbara), and James D. Parks as well as two sisters, Winona L.Varnado and Deanna L. Latimer (Dean), six grandchildren and two great grandchildren (whom she adored), and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Trinity Funeral Services is handling all of the arrangements. A private Celebration of Life event will be held at a future date.
