Jayme Lee Nichole Mattox, a cherished mother, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2023, in McHenry, Mississippi. Born on July 22, 1987, in Gulfport, Mississippi, Jayme's vibrant spirit and loving nature touched the lives of all who knew her. Jayme grew up surrounded by the love and guidance of her parents, Kristen and Harvey Crabtree, and her biological father, Bobby Lee Carden Jr., who predeceased her, leaving behind his wife Shauna Carden. Jayme's family life was rich with the wisdom and affection of her grandparents, Helen (Louise) Waltman, Loraine and Billy Richardson, and her late grandfather, Bobby Lee Carden Sr. The joy of her life was her two daughters, Fallyn LaRue Nikol Mattox and Adalyn Louise Corene Mattox, who were the epitome of her love and legacy. As the beloved sister to Stephen and his wife Holly Mattox, Heather Carden Hodge, Melanie and her wife Shanna Rhodes, Dale Mattox, Brandon Coleman, Julian and his wife Ashley Coleman, Brett and fiancé Emily Carden, the late Ashley Carden, and Brittney Whaley, Jayme's bond with her siblings was one of deep camaraderie and mutual respect. Together, they created memories that will be cherished forever. Her siblings will forever have her 6. Jayme completed her education by earning a GED, a testament to her determination and dedication to personal growth. Her interests were as varied as they were passionate. A true outdoorswoman, Jayme found solace and joy in the beauty of nature. Whether landscaping, hunting, or fishing, she was at peace among the elements. Her love for the outdoors was matched only by her love for her family. Jayme's daughters were her world, and she relished every moment she spent with them. Her face would light up with an unmistakable smile whenever she spoke of or to her beloved girls, a sight that will be dearly missed. Jayme also had a competitive spirit, which she showcased by playing softball for a year alongside her father and siblings. This experience was not only a display of her athletic abilities but also an opportunity for family bonding and creating lasting memories on the field. The memory of Jayme Lee Nichole Mattox will be forever held in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her presence was a gift to her family, and the values she instilled in her daughters will continue to guide them as they navigate life's journeys. Jayme's spirit, characterized by her strength, love, and passion for life, will continue to inspire and influence the lives of her family and friends. As we say goodbye to Jayme, we celebrate the life she lived so fully and the love she gave so freely.
