Jason Brian Simmons, a good ole boy celebrated for his kindness, loyalty, and gentle spirit, passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 40 in Saucier, MS. Born on May 9, 1985, in Gulfport, MS, he was raised in Saucier where the values of hard work and a love for hunting and fishing defined his life. Jason was a member of the Harrison Central Harrison School Class of 2004 where he was known for being light-hearted and a true friend. As an adult, he was a talented carpenter and eventually started working estate cleanouts, where he discovered a passion for finding “treasures” and collectibles. Jason embodied what it meant to have the heart of a country boy. He was an avid hunter of everything from coons to deer and loved fishing in between. When he wasn’t in the woods, he was a skilled chicken handler. Jason was one of the hardest-working individuals you would ever meet, never quitting until the job was done. His departure leaves behind a treasure trove of memories for his beloved daughter Alexis Nicole Simmons, who will forever cherish his unending love. Jason also leaves behind parents, Shine and Cynthia Simmons; his sister Ashley Britten (Johnathan); his brother David Simmons; and nieces and nephews, Baleigh, Hayden, and Clara Simmons and Annabelle, Annagrace, and Brent Britten. Additionally, his trusted coon dog Rap that was more like his best friend. As the sun sets on his earthly journey, we find solace knowing Jason left a mark on the hearts of everyone he met. We have joy in our hearts knowing he is now enjoying the best hunting cast; ready to cut ‘em, strike ‘em, and tree ‘em. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Simmons family in their time of need and asks that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers through the days ahead.
