Jason Jordan Johnston

Jason Jordan Johnston, age 48, passed away on February 9, 2022, in Gulfport, MS. Jason was born on May 27, 1973, in Jackson, MS. He grew up in Jackson and attended Forest Hill high school. After high school Jason joined the United States Army. Before Jason had his strokes, he loved life and lived it to the fullest! He loved the outdoors and going hunting. Not only did he love living close to the ocean, but he also loved boating and fishing in it too. Jason was self-employed as a Construction Contractor and a Tattoo artist. Both jobs allowed to show off his creativity and talent. He was a “Rebel” and a “Saint”, a fan of Ole Miss and New Orleans. He loved getting together with his family and friends and leaves behind a lot of fun memories and will be missed dearly. Jason is survived by his loving parents, Nita and Roger Sanford of Terry, MS; a son, Micah Johnston of Flowood, MS; two beautiful daughters, Saylor and Bayleigh Johnston whom he adored of Biloxi; brother, Jonathan (Rebecca) Sanford of Flowood, MS; nephew, Christian Sanford of Flowood, MS; and his “Other Mother” Rita (Dan) Wade of Branson, MO. There will be a Celebration of Life at Jason’s family home on his birthday, May 27, 2022.
