With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jason Matthew Bourque, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who left us far too soon at the age of 49 years.

Jason was a man of great talent and even greater heart. He leaves behind a legacy built with his hands, his heart, and his voice- in every piece of wood he shaped, every song he sang, and every moment he shared with those he loved.

His greatest joy in life was his family. He was a loving and devoted husband of 23 years to Natalie Bourque, a proud and caring father to Kayla (Wyatt) McKay, Brittany (Aaron) Hickman, Haleigh (Tray) Payne, and Wesley Bourque (Lauren), and a loving Papaw whose world lit up with mention of Nadalyn, Wyatt, Bradley, Ainsleigh, Makinley, Mallorie, and Haevyn.

He is also survived by nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, his siblings Angie, John, and Nathaniel, as well as extended family and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John “Earl” Bourque, Sr., and Colleen L. Brown, along with other cherished family members.

Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end; they simply mean, I’ll miss you until we meet again. Your presence we miss, your memory we treasure, loving you always, forgetting you never.

Services for Jason will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry, beginning at 2:30 pm for a Memorial Visitation and 3:30 pm for a Funeral Service. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Bourque family and would ask that you remember Natalie and their children in your thoughts and prayers over the very difficult days ahead.
