Janet Marie Henley Tomasich, age 55, of Kiln, MS, died on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at her home. She was born on June 20, 1969, to the late Charles and Paulette Henley of Kiln. She attended Hancock North Central and Chris’ Beauty College.
Janet was a selfless, compassionate, caring, hardworking, determined, strong willed, mother. She was also an intelligent woman who dedicated her life to her family and to her work. In addition, she was the vice president of Henley Timber and Henley Construction, formally Kiln Trucking, Inc. She worked daily as a homemaker who loved to cook for her family and enjoyed family gatherings for holidays and special occasions. She loved watching Braxton Henley and Lifetime movies.
On October 12, 1991, she married Henry Author Tomasich, Jr., and together they had two children: Sandra Tomasich Lizana and Henry “Allen” Tomasich.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Paulette Henley; her paternal grandparents William “Billy” and Eunice Moran Henley; her maternal grandparents Adolph “Johnny” and Mary “Lilian” Hall; her father-in-law Henry Author Tomasich, Sr.; and her sister-in-law Regina Henley. She is survived by husband Henry Author Tomasich Jr; mother-in-law Mardell Tomasich; daughter Sandra(Daniel) Lizana; son Henry Allen Tomasich; brothers Paul (Judy), Russell, Daniel, Jonathan; sister-in-law Dodie Lynn (Steve) Tomasich; nephews Austin(Shay) Henley, William “Billy"(Sherry) Henley; Dustin Reinchuck; great-nephews Devin Elliott, Dominick Rush, Damien Rush, Owen Reinchuck, Braxton Henley, Thomas Warosh; nieces Kristen Tomasich, Katelyn(Matthew) Warosh, Samana(Hunter) Taylor, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family would like to thank family, friends for their support and prayers, and Dr. Crittenden as well as all caregivers who cared for Janet.
