Janet Marilyn (Eccles) Edwards

Janet Marilyn Edwards, 70, of Pearl River, Louisiana, passed away on December 18, 2024, in Picayune, MS.  Lynn, as she was lovingly known her whole life, was born on November 26, 1954, in New Orleans, LA to her parents Lloyd and Ruby (Martin) Eccles.  Lynn spent a good part of her life working for Wal-Mart in Slidell for over 20 years. Lynn was also the Co-Owner of the local favorite, Poboys, in Pearl River, Louisiana, where she loved giving back to a community she loved so dearly.  Lynn will be immensely missed by all who knew and loved her.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edwards; her father, Lloyd Eccles; her mother, Ruby Martin Eccles; and her sister, Juanita "Kitty" Eccles Curnalia.  Lynn is survived by her son, Kelly (Amy) Young; her daughter, Jessie (Mikie) Ayo; and her grandchildren, Brenden-Derek Young, Joseph-Dominick Ayo, and Rebekah-Noel Ayo. Services for Lynn will be held at Jesus Name Apostolic Church in Pearl River, LA, on January 18, 2024, beginning at 12:00 Noon until 2:00 pm.
