Mr. James Robert Sutton

James Robert Sutton, 39, passed away on Friday, September 8th, at his home in Lucedale. J.R. was born February 25, 1978 in Gulfport, the second child of Harvey and Peggy Sutton. He grew up in Concordia, MO, and developed a loving personality, along with a very big heart. He came back to South MS in 1992, eventually settling in Lucedale. J.R. was a very good artist, and had a giving heart. He would do anything for anybody, and was a jovial person who was fun to be around. He will be sadly missed by all who's life he touched. J.R. is survived by his only daughter, Destiny Sutton of Gulfport; one sister, Angela Delancey of Gautier, brothers, Josh, Todd, and Harvey Sutton; nieces Alexis and Courtney Delancey, a nephew, Wyatt Delancey; aunts Joyce (Kenny) Allen, Faye (Chris) Stainbrook, Kathy (Jerry) Martin, and Vicky (Larry) Savage, all of Biloxi, Ann Smith of Wiggins, and an uncle, Leslie Carter of Biloxi, along with many friends and extended family members. He was preceded by his parents, father Harvey Robert Sutton, his mother, Peggy Lorraine Davis, and one uncle, Gary Carter. His wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. A memorial graveside service is being set for Thursday, September 14th at 11:00 AM, at the Delancey Cemetery off Hwy. 67 in Biloxi.
