James R. Scarbrough Jr.

James Ray "Buckshot" Scarbrough, born on June 17, 1994, passed away in Mobile, AL on April 7, 2024. Known for his easy smile and gracious heart, Buckshot was a true embodiment of the southern spirit. Buckshot received his CDL in 2023 and began a career that he loved, driving dump trucks and hauling dirt and gravel   . His work was a reflection of his solid and reliable nature. A good ole country boy at heart, Buckshot devoted his downtime to fishing, where he found peace and joy amidst the waters. His beloved nephews were the light of his life; he cherished every moment spent with them, instilling in them the values of patience and kindness. He is survived by his loving parents, Gretta Scarbrough (Rivers) and James Scarbrough, as well as by the multitude of friends and family members whose lives he touched with his generous soul. Buckshot's legacy will continue to ripple through the lives of those who were fortunate to know him.
