James Charles Daughtery Jr.

James Charles Daughtery Jr., 64, of Lumberton, MS, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2024. Born on July 4, 1960, in Biloxi, MS. He attended local schools before embarking on a fulfilling career that saw him rise through the ranks to become a respected Boat Captain at Laredo Offshore. In the fabric of his life, family was the strongest thread. James is preceded by his wife, Welcome Kay Daughtery, and his parents, Jacqueline and James Daughtery Sr., as well as his brothers Troy and Lee Daughtery. He is fondly remembered by his siblings Anna Daughtery Hays (Jack), Alan Lynn Daughtery, and Arnold Daughtery. His legacy continues through his loving children, James Charles Daughtery III (Crystal), Jason Paul Daughtery, Jeremy Lynn Daughtery, and Jessica Mae Daughtery, and his cherished grandchildren Erin, Bryn, Kashton, Brixton, Angel and Ashley. James joyous laughter and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever sail in the hearts of his family, friends, and those blessed to have crossed his path.
