James "Candy Man" Edward Head, passed away unexpectedly on Friday September 9, 2022. He was born in Gulfport, MS on June 22, 1946 to Charles and Elena Head Sr.. Candy Man loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family. He was known for making mullet nets, crab traps, and being there when or if someone needed him. Candy Man could also skin a hog faster than anyone and tell the best stories. James is preceded by his loving parents, Charles and Elena Head of Kiln, MS and one daughter, Helen Marie Farve of Kiln, MS. Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Ricky (Riesha) Head of Kiln, MS and Randy (Heather) Head of Palestine, AR; daughter, Hannah (Richard) Greenway of Nixa, MI; son-in-law, Keith Farve of Palestine, AR; granddaughters considered as daughters, Kayla (Dustin) Lee of Palestine, AR and Shayla (Chaz) Peterson of Palestine, AR. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and a host of friends and family.
