James Allen Armstrong

June 15, 1951 — March 4, 2024

Saucier, Mississippi

James Allen Armstrong age, 72, passed away from severe Myasthenia Gravis on March 3, 2024 in Gulfport, MS. He was born on June 15, 1951 in Bruce, MS to the late O.D. Armstrong and Mary Clark Armstrong. James Allen Armstrong, cherished husband, devoted father, and dear friend, is leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. An avid collector, he found joy in the simple things, whether it be hats, which he collected with enthusiasm, or his favorite attire of blue jeans and suspenders. He was also a lover of good food and family gatherings, James embodied the essence of a family man, passing down wisdom to his children and serving as a foster dad for many years. He had a gift for connecting with people, always ready to engage in conversation and share stories. His outspoken nature was matched only by his unwavering love for God and his dedication to his mini-farm and beloved animals. A true old-fashioned country man, James found solace in the soil, nurturing his garden, and tending to his plants with care. He also found relaxation in playing solitaire, watching Westerns, and staying informed through watching the news. James was the patriarch of his family, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. James is preceded by his loving parents, O.D. and Mary Armstrong. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Annie Ruth Armstrong, many children; sister, Bonnie; brother, Kenny Armstrong; many grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren that he dearly loved. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Armstrong Family during these difficult times and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
