Jackie Marie (Parfait) Verdin

Jackie Marie Parfait Verdin, age 55, passed away February 29, 2020. Jackie was the second of eleven born to the late Norris and Judith (Verrett) Parfait, Sr. She was born on November 3, 1964 in Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Rita Billiot and Georgianna Parfait; brother, Wade Parfait. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Jacquelie Parfait ( Keith-a.k.a. Filet migon, Corn bread dressing) ; sisters, Sandra (Raymond) Lindsey, Jennita and Sharona Billiot; brothers, Ernest (Jean) Parfait, Norris (Nellie) Parfait, Paul Eric (Lisa) Parfait, Chad (Jamie) Parfait, Leonard (Candace) Parfait; grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Jacob and Jennifer; great-grandchild, Jeremiah along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Jackie will be remembered for being an easy going, fun loving woman. The party didn’t start until Jackie got there! She possessed a quality about her that made everyone feel at ease around her. She was the “cool aunt” to everybody whether you were related or not. No subject or anything was off limits to her- she was on the bandwagon and ready! Her hobbies included shooting pool, New Orleans Saints and her dogs. Jackie was truly loved and will be missed beyond measure. At a later date to be announced, A Celebration of Life will be held at Jackie’s church, Spanish Trail Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis.
