Mr. Jackie Wayne Hariel, 75
Mr. Jackie Hariel, age 75, passed away leaving behind a legacy as bold and unforgettable as the life he lived. A skilled pool builder by trade, Jackie was known as one of the best at what he did—a true perfectionist whose talent and craftsmanship spoke for themselves. A gifted welder and highly intelligent man, he had a natural ability to build and fix just about anything, making the difficult seem effortless.
Jackie lived life on his own terms and to the fullest. He was a true character—full of energy, humor, and unpredictability—and you never quite knew what he might say or do next. He loved to laugh, cut up, and be the life of the party. Social and full of charm, he was well known as a ladies’ man and a legend in his “hollar,” loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Beneath his lively spirit was a generous heart. Jackie was always willing to lend a hand, helping anyone in need without hesitation. His kindness, humor, and larger-than-life personality will be deeply missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Winston and Thelma Hariel; his son, Randy Hariel; and his sisters, Debbie Hariel and Jill Hariel.
He is survived by his daughter, Veronica (Bradley) McKay; his son, Nicholas Hariel; his beloved grandchildren, Ross, Paul, Dillon, Allison, Seth, Sage, Sawyer, and Briella; his siblings, Wendall (Wanda) Hariel, Peggy Staten, Myra (Elroy) Necaise, and Tony (Vickie) Hariel; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other cherished family members.
Those wishing to honor Jackie’s memory may attend funeral services at Smith Family cemetery, Barth Rd, Poplarville, MS 39470 on June 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
Jackie will be remembered for his spirit, his laughter, and the mark he left on everyone who knew him. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Hariel Family and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.
