Inger "Inga" Christine Olson

Inger “Inga” Christine Olson of Bay St Louis, Mississippi was a caring mother, grandmother (“Momo”), aunt, daughter and friend. Inger passed away at the age of 55 on September 16, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Lacombe, Louisiana, Inger Christine Olson graduated from Pope John Paul High School. Inger’s warmth, passion for helping others, and love for children paved the way for her work in early childhood education and the hospitality industry. She completed her bachelor’s degree from Cal Baptist University in Riverside, California while working and raising her children.

Inger loved to have a good time with family and friends. She had a beautiful laugh that exuded her joy for life. Her door was always open to anyone who needed a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, or a compassionate hug. While her fun-loving personality made others feel at ease around her, it was her kindness and selflessness that left a lasting impression on anyone who met her. What Inger loved most was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Inger leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and kindness. She is survived by her children, Dallen, Gavin, Gabrielle, and Blake; her grandchildren, Dalilah, Gavin, Summer, and Ingram; her brothers, David, Axel, Karl, Olaf, and Eric; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Inger’s life on October 2 from 1-4 at Olaf and Wanda Olson’s house, 61880 Shady Pine Road, Lacombe, LA, 70445.
