Ilah Ruth (Price) White

Ilah Ruth (Price) White, 69, passed away on March 14, 2023, surrounded by her family, at home, in Vancleave, MS. Ruth, as everyone called her, was born on June 25, 1953, in Columbus, MS to her parents, Dewey Lecil and Ressie-Lee (Richardson) Price. Ruth graduated from New Hope High School in Columbus, Ms, class of 1971. Ruth shared a special bond with her granddaughter, Brittany, and their sweet pup, Willow, who snuggled close to Ruth every night. Ruth will be remembered by all who knew and loved her as a good-hearted, compassionate woman. She is preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Ressie- Lee Price. Left to cherish her memory, are her loving husband of thirty-seven years, Thomas White, of Vancleave; two sons, Scotty (Anna) Richards of TN, and Kevin (Shawna) Richards of Gautier, MS; two step-sons, Timothy Chad White of Ocean Springs, MS and Thomas Bradley White of D'Iberville, MS; one sister, Brenda Joyce (Price) Barksdale and one brother, James Collins (Karen) Price, both of Columbus, MS; and two grandchildren, Brittany Michelle Richards of Vancleave and Wyatt Richards of AK. A memorial service will be held at later date provided by the family.
