Hilda P. Lenoir, 86, of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026.

Born on November 18, 1939, in Ozona, Mississippi, Hilda was the beloved daughter of Hugo and Lillie Smith. She lived a life marked by love, faith, kindness, and devotion to family.

Hilda was known for her more than 60 years in the cosmetology industry as a hairstylist. She was also a devoted Christian and prayer warrior who faithfully prayed for countless people throughout the years. She especially cherished her church family at Resurrection Life and treasured every opportunity to spend time with her family and friends.

Hilda is survived by her daughter, Lisa Venturini; her nephew, Owen Brayson; her grandchildren, Stephen Scott and Christy McLemore; and her great-grandchildren, Dustin and Danica Schmidt, Drew and Chelsea Schmidt, and Madylin, Joshua, and Jackson McLemore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugo and Lillie Smith; her siblings, Hershel, Helen, Hazel, and Heyward Smith; her husband, J.T. Lenoir; and her children, Sylvia Lenoir, Steve McLemore, and Lynwood Slayden.

Those who knew Hilda will remember her for her love, compassion, and sharp wit. Her wisdom, strength, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A visitation and memorial service will be held at Trinity Funeral Home, 319 Highway 49 South, McHenry, Mississippi 39561, on Monday, June 1, 2026. Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 3:00 p.m.

Hilda will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
