Ms. Helen Carlena Maskew

Ms. Helen Carlena Maskew, 80 of Pascagoula, MS, passed away September 27th in Ocean Springs. Helen was born Feb. 25, 1938 in Seminary, MS, and after school, she proudly served our nation as a member of the US Navy, and US Air Force as well. She made her home in Pascagoula, where she worked for many years at McCloud Marine. As an avid animal lover, Ms. Maskew had two cats, Jazz and Angel, along with 2 dogs, Rusty and Bella. She is remembered as a loving mother with a great sense of humor, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Wesley and Audrey (Eaton) Maskew. She leaves behind her loving son, Christopher Maskew of Pascagoula. Helen's desire was to be laid to rest without fanfare, which her son is honoring.
