Mr. Harold John Williams

July 28, 1939 — March 30, 2019

Mr. Harold John Williams, 79 of Perkinston, passed away Saturday in Wiggins. Harold, or "Mr. H" as he was widely known, was born July 28, 1937 in Florida, the oldest of 6 boys to John & Syble (Segers) Williams. He grew up in Panama City and joined the US Army right out of high school, serving honorably from 1959 - 1963. Harold loved his country, and was proud that he had the opportunity to serve. Following his military discharge, Mr. H made a career as a commercial OTR driver, covering the entire "lower 48" in his time behind the wheel. After his wife of many years, and mother to his children, Cora, passed away in 2007, John was living in Biloxi when Karen caught his eye. He tried several times to convince her to go have a cup of coffee with him. She finally agreed and the two had been together since. He is remembered as a wonderful man with a great sense of humor, that loved seeing others smile and laugh. A loving, caring companion, he will be very sadly missed. Mr. H was preceded by his son, John Williams; his parents, John & Syble, and four of his brothers: Glen, Bobby, James, and David. Left to cherish his memories are: his loving fiance', Karen Langston; his only remaining brother, Richard (Patricia) Williams of Panama City; and his children, Dorothy, Jason, and Tina, along with numerous friends and acquaintances across the country. His final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring, and Mr. H will be interred at Biloxi National Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Williams' family in their time of need, and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
