Harold Johnson, loving outdoorsman and devoted family man, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2024, in Bogalusa. Born on June 16, 1965, in New Orleans, to parents Kathleen and Harold Johnson Sr. Harold's passion for nature was evident in his personal pursuits. A self-proclaimed pro-fisherman, hunter, and camper, he had an exceptional talent for woodworking. Harold also found joy in cooking, delighting friends, spending time with grandbabies. A gifted woodworker, Harold's hands were rarely still, always busy crafting lasting memories and art. But above all, his greatest pride was found in the laughter and love of his grandbabies, with whom he cherished every precious moment. Harold's vibrant spirit and legacy will live on through his works, his wisdom, and the warmth of memories shared with all who knew him. Preceded by his parents Kathleen Vivian Johnson and Harold Edwin Johnson Sr; his grandchildren Triston Redmond and Rebecca Colby. Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 40 plus years Carol Cook; his children Michael Scott Joseph Cook (Amanda), Teresa Ann Johnson(Jamie), Terrie Gatlin(Joey), Courtney Riley; his siblings Kevin Johnson(Lynn), Scott Johnson(Terri), April Phillips(Craig); his grandchildren Trinity, Matthias, Aden, Arianna, Dasanee, Mason, Ty, Christian, Connor, Kane, and Lizzy.
