Harold Levi Barnett Jr., affectionately known as "Nunu" by his friends and loved ones, passed away peacefully in his birthplace of Lumberton, Mississippi, on January 29, 2025. Born on September 5, 1967, Nunu spent his lifetime within the community that he cherished, surrounded by the beauty of the land and the warmth of its people. Nunu found his calling behind the wheel, traversing the crossroads of the country as a long-haul truck driver, fostering a brotherhood among his peers and earning the esteem of those within the transportation community. His passions included leisurely floats down the creek, the exhilaration of riding his Harley, and embracing the freedom of the open road. Nunu's profound presence and heartfelt laughter will forever echo in the lives he touched. As a man of the outdoors and the open highway, his spirit will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. He is preceded by his beloved wife, Tiffany Barnett, his mother, Shirley Carlisle, and his father, Harold Barnett Sr. He is survived by his son Shelby Barnett(Kayley) of Lumberton, his daughters Karleigh Barnett, Katlyn and Lexi Lee of Lumberton; grandsons Cooper Barnett and Levi Lester; stepfather Keith Carlisle of Wiggins;sisters Cheryl Smith(Kendall) of Petal and Sissy Dale(Tracy) of Wiggins; with five cherished nieces and nephews.
