Gwendolyn Ann Dedeaux

Gwendolyn Ann Dedeaux, of Kiln, Mississippi, passed away on September 8, 2026, surrounded by family. She was born on February 5, 1952, in Gulfport, Mississippi.

Gwendolyn will be remembered as a friendly and outgoing woman with a big heart who truly loved life. She was a true girls girl who enjoyed doing hair, makeup, and nails, especially on herself, and she loved to shop. These simple joys reflected her lively spirit and the way she carried herself with warmth and confidence.

Nothing meant more to Gwendolyn than her children, whom she loved dearly and cherished. Among the deepest loves of her life was the special bond she shared with her grandson, Peyton, who held a very special place in her heart.

She is survived by her son, Kendrick Cuevas; her daughter Shawn Cuevas; her grandson, Peyton Cuevas; and her sisters, Neva Bohlen, Wanda Ladner, and Tammy Wilson. She leaves behind family who will remember her with love and gratitude for the joy, care, and heart she brought into their lives.

Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon Cuevas; her parents, Bernice and J. C. Dedeaux; and her sisters, Summer Dedeaux and Rhonda West. Their memories remained part of her life and story, and she now rests with those who went before her.

Gwendolyn Ann Dedeaux will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
