Gloria Jean Dearman, age 75, passed away on December 6, 2023 in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born in Morten, MS on June 10, 1948 to the late Jones and Tommye Collins. Gloria was a soft spoken and caring person that would help anyone that crossed her path. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, enjoying her favorite TV shows, with a special fondness for soap operas, crime dramas, and a diet coke by her side. Known as a "mom" to everyone, she never met a stranger and welcomed all with open arms. Her gentle nature and enduring sweetness made her a comforting presence for those around her. Family held a special place in Gloria's heart, and she found immense happiness in spending time with her loved ones, particularly her great-grandchildren. A talented cook, her kitchen was a source of love and warmth. Her family was not just a part of her life; they were her life. Gloria's kindness knew no bounds, and her loving nature left an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. She was a pillar of support, always there for others in times of need. Gloria will be remembered for the beautiful, kind, and loving person she was. Gloria is preceded by her loving husband, Walace “Buddy” Dearman; parents, Jones and Tommye Collins, and one brother, Robert Collins. She is survived by her loving children, Wayne (Tammy) Herrington, Tangela (Ricky) Smith, and Bryan Dearman; niece, Rhonda Maynard and her two children, Josslyn and Gunnar. Also left to cherish her memories are her seven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Dearman Family and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.
