Glen Dale Rester

Glen Dale Rester Jr., 18 months, went into the arms of Jesus surrounded by family and friends on February 24, 2022 at Singing River Hospital in Gulfport, Mississippi. Glen was born on August 10, 2020 in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi to Reagon and Courtney Rester. Glen was the answer to Courtney and Reagon's prayers and they spent every day of his life showing him just how much they loved him, and how special he really was. During his short time with us on earth, Glen enjoyed listening to music with his dad, cuddling with his mom, being held, and playing with his siblings. He loved being outside, play fighting with his puppy, and just being free. Glen had the warmest hugs, the sweetest kisses, and laughter that would lighten up the entire house. Glen was loved by all that met him, and he will be greatly missed. Baby Glen is preceded by his great grandpas, "BJ" Burdic Rester and Monroe Howard Bounds; his uncle, Glen Dale Byron Rester; his aunt, Gracie Lucinda Rester, and his cousin, Zayden Dale McLean. Left to cherish his memories are: his parents, Courtney and Reagon Rester; two brothers, Rylan Thigpen and Bailey Ladner, and his sister, Sophia Duhon; grandparents, Glen (Crystal) Rester and Mr. Ashley (Terri) Ladner, and Sandy Rester; great-grandparents, Carolyn Bounds, Melissa(John) Ladner, Gerald (Angie) McLean, and Helen Rester; aunts, Amber (Shane) Torres, Beth (Paul) Houston, Alicia (Joe) Prima, Krystal (Michael) Bland, Cyndi (Keith) Silcio, Breelyn Mills, and Kristian Thigpen; uncles, Ricky Rester and Devon Mills; godmother, Kristel Alley Ladner, and godfather, Kenneth Dale Rester. Glen's memories will also be cherished by numerous cousins and friends. A visitation will be held at the Kiln Storm Shelter on Friday March 4, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until, with the funeral service set for Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Rester family in this time of need, and asks everyone to keep them all in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
