Gilbert Paige

Mr. Gilbert Paige, age 68, passed away on May 4, 2019 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Gilbert was born on May 23, 1950 to Corrinne (Comer) and Quitman Paige in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Gil, as his family lovingly called him, had a gentle soul. Not to say that he couldn't be stubborn, but he had a genuine love for his family and others. Gil enjoyed fishing, hearing a good joke and spending time with his children. He was the type of person that you wanted to be around, and will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all the lives he touched. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Quitman & Corrinne; brothers Albert and Joe Paige, a sister, Shirley Paige, and two granddaughters, Bella Paige and McKenna Doster. Gil leaves behind to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Sylvia Paige; sons, Jayson (Toni), Travis (Christal) and Patrick Paige, Derek (Jessica) Doster, with daughters Christy Hill and Jessica Taylor; grandkids, which were truly his love, Harper, Trace, Taylon, Dalton, Ellie and Brileigh; one sister, Sue (Thomas) Bocanegra, along with twelve nieces and nephews, and lots of friends over the years. The family is planning a Celebration of Life to be held at a later.
