Gerald Dewayne "Jerry" Gross

Gerald DeWayne Gross, 82, of Saucier, MS. passed away on January 15, 2023, surrounded by his family at home. "Jerry" as he was well known, was born on March 12, 1940, in Meridian, MS to his parents, Leotha G. and Mary (Hall) Gross. Throughout sixty-three years of marriage, Jerry's love for Phyllis never dimmed. He was an exceptional husband, father, and provider for his family. Jerry was a member of the Polar Star Masonic Lodge for more than thirty years. Jerry is remembered as an honorable man by all who knew and loved him. Preceding Jerry in death, his father Leotha G. Gross, and mother Mary (Hall) Love, as well as one brother. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Phyllis Gross of Saucier; one son Jerry (Lisa) Gross, Jr. of Hattiesburg; one granddaughter Kristen Gross of Hattiesburg; and one brother. Jerry leaves a legacy of numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. A visitation for Jerry will be Thursday, January 19, 2023, beginning at 10 am in the chapel at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry, directly followed by a graveside service at Floral Hills.
