Georgia Ruth Stone

Ms. Georgia "Ruth" (Prysock) Stone, 76, of Wiggins, MS passed away September 12,2021 in Gulfport, MS.  She was born May 16, 1945, to Willie Pearl Prysock , in Shuquolak, MS.  Growing up, she enjoyed playing basketball and running track for Ethel High School. In 1976, Ruth would decide to start welding so that she could help her mother take care of her siblings.  While welding, Ruth met the love of her life, Warren G. Stone, she would marry him in 1983 and they would go on to have three beautiful children together.  She enjoyed fishing and being outdoors with her family and loved birthdays at the creek. Ruth LOVED to play cards, she would stay up late on the weekends betting in competitive card games. She was a long time member of Tuxachena Baptist Church where she loved to serve and praise the Lord. Ruth lived a long, happy life filled with love for her family and pets.  She had a heart of Gold that will be missed the most.  She is preceded in death by her mother Willie Pearl Prysock and three of her siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her children Tammy Griffin, Michael Curtis, and Robert Antrim all of Wiggins, MS; Ruth leaves a legacy of six grandchildren and eleven great grans, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.  Ms. Ruth's wishes were to have her body donated so that even after she's passed she could help aid in the advancement of medicine.
