Georgia Lee Mackinnon

We lost our beloved Georgia on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, after a mercifully short struggle with illness. She died at home in Saucier, Mississippi, conscious to the last and able to speak with friends and family who gathered to say goodbye.

She was born Georgia Lee Mann to Raymond and Velma Sue Mann in Renton, Washington, on October 24th, 1959.

Georgia is survived by her daughter, Candy, her grandson, William, her granddaughter, Savannah, her great-granddaughter, Kylee, her stepson, Shane, her mother, Sue, her sister Jane, her nieces, Connie and Karen, her brother Tom, and her nephew, James.

She will be mourned by family, and by the many friends she made over the course of her life, including hundreds of workmates whose lives she touched in over thirty years of employment at the Boeing Company.

We will each remember Georgia in our own way, but we will all remember her as a woman who faced her own challenges with grace and courage, shared the joys and challenges of her loved ones and friends with empathy and support, and wished only the best for everyone around her.

Rest in peace, Georgia.
