George "Ricky" Richard Spiers

George Richard Spiers “Ricky”, 69, of McNeill passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on November 29, 2024. Ricky was born on March 7, 1955 to George and Dela Dillard Spiers in McNeill, MS.

Ricky was a devoted family man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved his family deeply and cherished every moment spent with his children. Ricky was married to Susan Spiers for 49 years, and together they raised three girls, Dawn, Katie, and Karen.

A fan of classic westerns, Ricky enjoyed quiet times drinking coffee with family and friends, sharing stories and laughter. He found happiness in family trips to the mountains and attending hot rod car shows, always with his loved ones by his side. Ricky's life was a testament to the beauty of togetherness and the comfort of simple moments shared with those he held dear. His love and presence will be forever missed.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents George and Dela Spiers, and his son-in-law Timothy Kahl Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Myra Teal, his daughters, Dawn (Shasta) Smith, Katie (Kurt) Jarrell, and Karen Kahl (Ronnie); Grandchildren Dalton (Riley) Smith, Kassidy (Logan) Upton, Hunter (Kirsten) Kahl, Jadyn Kahl, Karson (Aleigha) Jarrell, and Baileigh Smith (Heath); Great Grandchildren Stetson Smith, Autumn Kahl, and Nash Upton; Honorary Grandson Elijah Delaney “Roc”; Sisters Carol Beard, Cathy (Richard) Burleson, and Susie (Don) Mason, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and uncles.
