George August Phillips Jr

George August Phillips Jr. passed away October 25, 2022, in Bay St Louis, MS. He was born in New Orleans, LA on August 31, 1959, to George and Shirley Phillips, Sr. Booboo, as his friends and family called him, was raised on the West Bank, where he enjoyed running the roads. As a young man he enjoyed local Mardi Gras festivities, especially while driving the floats.  George enjoyed the outdoors, fishing to be exact, and gambling. A game called pity pat, was one that George loved playing with his family, especially if the bets were high! He was a kind man who deeply loved spending time with his grandchildren. George will be immensely missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Shirley Phillips, Sr.; his twin sister Georgia Allnet; three brothers, Donald Phillips, Vincent Perez, and Juan Perez. Left to cherish George's memory are his children, Lucille (Ronald) Deubner of Pass Christian, George Prince of Winfield, Kansas, Ernest (Crystal) Phillips of Biloxi, Joshua Martin of San Diego CA, Jerry Prince of Bay St. Louis, Joyce, Catherine, and Herman Dubose of Tickfaw LA, and Andrew Phillips of Enterprise AL.; his siblings Anthony Phillips of Pass Christian, Susie Dubose of Pear River LA, and Jose Perez of New Orleans, LA. A celebration of life will be held in George's honor, Saturday October 29, 2022, at Divine Missionary Baptist Church beginning at10 am until noon. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Phillips family in their time of need and asks that you would keep them in your thoughts and prayers in the days to come.
