George Edward Jordan

George Edward Jordan, aged 88, passed away peacefully at his home in Perkinston, Mississippi, on October 27, 2026. Born on October 14, 1938, in Perkinston, George was a cherished father, brother, and friend.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Karla Vase, Geraldine Chayer, Krista Jordan, and Michelle Prevedel, as well as his five grandchildren and a great-grandson. His sisters, Beth Ryals and Carolyn Jordan, and his cherished brother and best friend, Joel "Cotton" Jordan, also survive him.

George was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Jordan and Lena "Knight" Jordan; his siblings, Geraldine "Jordan" Gibson, Jack Jordan, and Peggy "Jordan" Singletary, his daughter, Deborah Janine Jordan, and his loving wife of 47 years, Eva Harrison Jordan.

A man of the land and the sea, George enjoyed fishing and embraced farming with a passion, generously sharing his harvest with others. His adventurous spirit took him to places like Indonesia, and he was known for his bold skydiving endeavors.

The memory of George lives on as a treasure to all who loved him.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the charities below in honor of George.
