Frederick Earl Mosley, age 68, went to be with the Lord, leaving behind a life rooted in quiet strength, kindness, and deep love for his family. Frederick was a hardworking man who took pride in all he did, and those who knew him knew him as one of the strongest people they had ever met.
Though he was quiet by nature, Frederick had a wonderful sense of humor that would shine through when he spoke, often bringing a smile to those around him. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—sitting outside tending to his plants, working in his garden, and taking pride in the vegetables he grew. He especially loved fishing with his grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them.
Frederick was a devoted football fan through and through. If a game was on, you could count on him watching it, cheering on his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide and the San Francisco 49ers. His love for the game was only matched by the love he had for his family.
Above all, Frederick was a kind and loving man who valued his family more than anything. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his steady presence, and the quiet way he showed love to those around him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Mosley and Pearl Ryan; his stepfather, Houston Ryan; two brothers; four sisters; and his grandsons, Caleb and Cade.
Frederick is survived by his children, Debra (Wade) Farley, Amber (Henry) Hollingshead, Tia Mosley, Tonya Mosley, Anthony (Chelsea) Odom, and Megan Cuevas; his grandchildren, Chloe and Caleb Farley, Trey and Emily Hollingshead, Aubrey Bounds, Mikah Mosley, Anastasia, William, and Jerimiah Odom, and Hope and Elyana Cuevas; and one great-grandchild, Aybel. He is also survived by his siblings, Kathy (Gene) Clay and Robert Mosley, along with his best friend, Bobby Roberts, numerous nieces, nephews, and many other beloved family members.
Frederick will be deeply loved and missed, but the memories he created and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
