Franklin Delano Breland Jr. age 58, passed away on January 12, 2024 in Poplarville surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 11, 1965 in Biloxi, Mississippi to Franklin D. Breland Sr. and Genevieve Chadwick Breland. Franklin Delano Breland Jr., a member of Red Hill Baptist Church and a man who never met a stranger, he left an indelible mark on the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Franklin was a truck driver by profession, but his true vocation lay in spreading joy and warmth wherever he went. He had a remarkable ability to bring smiles to faces and keep the mood light in any situation. His infectious laughter and lively spirit made him a lot of fun to be around. A natural people person, he effortlessly made connections with individuals from all walks of life, forming friendships that spanned the entire country. As a dedicated truck driver, Frank found joy in his job, relishing the opportunity to travel and see the beautiful landscapes that our nation has to offer. His love for the open road was evident to all who knew him, and his adventures on the highways became legendary among his friends and family. Beyond his professional pursuits, Frank was a man of many passions. He had a deep love for his motorcycle, finding joy in the freedom of the open ride. He was also a skilled grill master, known for cooking the best gumbo and chili every Christmas, and creating cherished memories around the dinner table. Frank had a penchant for the thrill of crime dramas and old western TV shows, and he enjoyed immersing himself in the pages of crime novels. His diverse interests reflected the richness of his personality, and he could often be found engrossed in a good book or sharing a hearty laugh over classic TV shows like MASH. A dedicated outdoorsman, Frank loved hunting and fishing, finding solace in the tranquility of nature. Yet, amidst all his passions, his love for his wife was unparalleled. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, and Frank's devotion to his wife was a source of inspiration to those around him. Kind, loving, and always ready to lend a helping hand, Frank touched the lives of many. His absence will be deeply felt, but the memories of his laughter, generosity, and zest for life will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May we remember the joy he brought to our lives and strive to emulate the love and warmth he shared with everyone he met. Welcoming Frank into Heaven is his father, Franklin Delano Breland Sr. Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 26 years, Melinda Ruth Breland; children, Dylan (Mariah) Breland, Gina (Brad) Billiot, Tracie (Clarissa) Smith; mother, Genevieve Breland; sisters, Darlene (Scott) Rountree, and Lisa (Chris) Neil; brother, Randy (Rose) Breland; grandchildren, Dre (Lynn) Billiot, Miriah (Luke) Johnson, Madasha (Dennis) Bledsoe, Justin (Ravin) Owen, Cierra Owen, and Mya (Bruce) Billiot; great-grandchildren, Oliver Johnson, Lillian Johnson, Wylder Stephenson, Noah Johnson, Navaleigh Boutwell, Ryver Billiot, and Walker Billiot. Also left to cherish his memories are numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
