Francis Gale Tribble, age 76, passed away on June 6, 2025 in Pass Christian, MS. He was born in Gulfport, MS on June 14, 1948 to the late Francis Adolph Tribble and Cornelia Ladner Tribble. Francis Gale Tribble, known lovingly as the “Goat Man,” or “Gale” he was a true original—funny, wise, and full of heart. A friend to everyone, he never met a stranger and had a story for every moment. He worked hard at the shipyard most of his life and lived modestly, always putting family and others first. He loved farm life, especially his goats, and cherished time outdoors—deer hunting with his sons and grandchildren, gardening, and camping. A talented cook, his signature smoked pork and Sunday meals brought everyone together. He was an avid Saints fan, enjoyed Mississippi State football, and had a sweet tooth that matched his sweet nature. A 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, Gale believed in helping others, staying honest, and loving deeply. He made friends everywhere he went, loved to laugh, and made holidays and everyday moments special. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched with kindness, humor, and love. Gale is preceded by his parents, Francis Adolph Tribble and Cornelia Tribble; Son Frankie Tribble; great-grandsons, Kamden Tribble and Kohven Rayborn; fiancé, Evelyn Coward; former wife, Mary Ruth Ladner. Left to cherish his memories are his children, Dale (Melba) Tribble, Mitchell (Cassie) Tribble, Malinda Tribble Cuevas, and Polly (Daniel) Mauffray; sister, Lynette (Steve) Tribble Brown; niece, Andrea (Rodney) Cressionnie; nephew, Christopher Brown; great niece, Lucy Cressionnie; great nephew, Logan Cressionnie; along with 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many friends.
