Frances Erline Netto

Frances Erline Netto, 77, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 22, 2023 in Diamondhead, MS. Born in Poplarville, MS on June 17, 1945 to Rommie Smith and Maude (Lee) Wells. Frances enjoyed the simple mornings of porch sitting in her rocking chair, waiting for that fresh cup of coffee while she colored. She loved cookouts with her family, crabbin’, and most of all spending time on the beach. Her greatest accomplishment in life was being a mother and grandmother, a job she cherished through and through. Frances ended every night with prayer, knowing that whatever obstacle came her way, “Gods got her.” She will be missed dearly. Frances is survived by three children, Patricia Wolf, Doris Palmer, and Johnny (Almedia) Rogers; one sibling, Luther Sones; thirteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, and five great great grands; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded by her parents, Rommie Smith and Maude Wells; one daughter, Brandy Yount; and five siblings, Bobby Smith, Gary Smith, Mary Stockman, Judy Spiers, and Charlie Louise Entrekin. A memorial service will be held at the New Bethel Full Gospel Community Church on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 2pm.
