Frances Marlene Hickman

Frances Marlene Hickman, age 70, passed away surrounded by her family on March 8, 2022 in Perkinston, Mississippi. She was born on August 4, 1951 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Clayton and Leona Birchfield. Frances was raised in Charleston, West Virginia one of seven sisters. She moved to Mississippi in 1979 and met her loving husband, Bruce in 1981 while in college. They would go on to have five lovely children that she adored but she had a special place in her heart for her grandson Archer, he was very special to her. Frances was selfless and always thought about her family before herself and she had a unique personality that was tuff but compassionate. She liked spending time with her family, making jewelry, and taking rides on motorcycles. Frances was a great wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, she will be missed dearly. Frances is preceded by her parents, Clayton and Leona Birchfield and one sister, Mary Parsons. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 37 years, Bruce Edwin Hickman; daughters, Tracie ( Honer Troy) Delancey of Vancleave, MS, Melody (Casey) Anderson of Ponca, OK, and Kali (Andrew) Henske of Perkinston, MS; sons, William (Janet) Smith of Gulfport, MS and Brandon (Christy) Hickman of Ponca, OK; sisters, Joyce Underwood, Linda Gobey, Elva (Gary) Strickland, Sandra King, and Becky (John) Priestley. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Trinity funeral services are entrusted with the arrangements.
