Flora Mae Hill, 82, passed away on January 18, 2026 in Perkinston, MS. She was born in Bay St. Louis on September 8, 1943 to the late Leonard and Clare Hill.
Flora Mae Hill was a woman full of life, love, and laughter. Known for her generous heart, she was always ready to help anyone in any way she could. Flora loved cooking and hosting, especially during the holidays, where her home was filled with good food, family, and joy. She cherished her morning coffee, often sitting on the porch enjoying nature, and took great pride in keeping her yard beautiful.
Flora loved to dance, laugh, and be surrounded by family and friends. She never met a stranger and treated everyone with kindness and warmth. Her love for animals, her sense of humor, and her joyful spirit made her a blessing to all who knew her. Above all, she deeply loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the heart of her world.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Clare Hill; all her brothers and sisters; and her grandson, Curtis “C.J.” James Saucier Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Ella (Curtis) Saucier Sr. and Jennifer (Malcolm Jr.) Dubose; her son, Curtis “Curt” Serpas III; her grandchildren, Angel Saucier (Billy Dahlgren Sr.), Michelle (Trent Spencer) Saucier, Hannah (Jonathan) Dubose, and Khristopher Dubose; and her great-grandchildren, Khialey Saucier, Kierstin Saucier, Hunter Saucier, Katrin Saucier, Tasha (Jacob Page) Saucier, William (Jade) Dahlgren Jr., Star Dahlgren, Blake Spencer, Houston Cruse, Willow Page, Winter Page, Ava, William Dahlgren III, and Katie Dubose. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of her nurses and case workers who lovingly cared for her over the years.
