Evelyn Grace Wilson, a beautiful soul who touched this world for only a moment, was born on December 4, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She returned to heaven that same day, taking her first and last breaths as a peaceful, sleeping angel. Though her time on Earth was brief, her spirit left a lasting imprint on every heart that held her close. We find comfort knowing she arrived in heaven lovingly welcomed by her dear friend, Romi, who now shares eternity with her.
Evelyn will forever be remembered by her devoted parents, Niko and Hanna Wilson, and her two big sisters, Charlotte and Harper, who will carry her warmth and gentle presence within their hearts always. Her paternal grandparents, Nino and Diana Wilson, and maternal grandparents, Charles “Chip” and Terry Bourg, treasured her long before she was born and continue to hold her close in love and memory.
A true little heart warrior, Evelyn showed remarkable strength from the beginning. She bore a striking resemblance to her sisters, a sweet reminder of the bond they shared. Family memories will forever include the tender ways her parents loved her, from simple joys like her mommy’s holiday eggnog cravings and Thanksgiving meals to the deep sense of comfort she felt being nestled close to her daddy.
Evelyn’s legacy reaches far into her extended family, who cherished her deeply: her maternal aunts and uncles—Catey (Brandon) Necaise, Casey (Nicki) Howell, Evan (Natasha) Bourg, Andrew Bourg, and Luke Henry—and her paternal aunts and uncles—Kenneth (Rebecca) Wilson, Meghan (Myles) Moran, Richard (Candice) Wilson, and Brandon (Kameron) Wilson. She is also loved and remembered by her great-grandparents Don Henry, Judy and Scuddy Bourg on her mother’s side, and Dorothy Necaise, Richard and Pat Wilson on her father’s side.
Though her great-grandparents Elizabeth Haas, Gwendolyn Dulaney, Kenneth Necaise, and Lucia Garcia did not live to meet her here on Earth, we trust they now embrace her with the same love that has always surrounded this family. And in heaven, Evelyn is not alone—she is surrounded by those who went before her, resting in a place of peace and companionship.
Evelyn’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Though her earthly journey was short, it was filled with immeasurable love and eternal promise.
A burial service honoring Evelyn’s life will be held on December 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at Standard – Sand Hill Cemetery in Kiln, Mississippi. Her family welcomes all who wish to celebrate her life and share in remembrance as they walk through this profound loss together.
