Erik Michael Trejo

Erik Michael Trejo, age 40 of Biloxi, MS, left this world on Saturday, April 10, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Erik is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Carlos Trejo of California, paternal grandmother, Consuela Trejo of Texas, maternal grandfather, Louis Santiago of Hawaii, and maternal grandmother, Barbara Richardson of Hawaii. Survivors include his father, Jose (Diane) Trejo of Biloxi, MS, his mother, Sharmaine Trejo of Hawaii (Diane Erickson of Augusta, GA), Erik’s daughter, Laney Trejo, of Gulfport, MS, Erik’s son, Tanner Trejo, of Saucier, MS, Erik’s brother, Jose (Sara) Trejo, Jr. and nephews, Anthony and Joseph of Belton, TX, Erik’s brother, Ricardo Trejo (Hillary Blake) and niece, Antonia Plummer of Biloxi, MS, nephew, Andrew Trejo of Jemez Springs, NM, and niece, Sienna Trejo of Biloxi, MS; step-brother Matthew (Melissa) Martin of Kiln, MS and step-sister Amanda (Keith) Carter of Ocean Springs, MS as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Erik had an infectious smile and personality that brightened every room he entered. He was always excited for the next opportunity and ready for any challenge, physically and mentally. He was a hard worker and just to know the excitement he had for the accomplishments and all the support he provided to his team members was contagious.  He would refer to himself as the “Beast” that could perform any task that was sent his way, and to know Erik you knew this was true.  He loved the gym, working out, and bodybuilding.  He was passionate about Star Wars and Legos from his childhood through adulthood.  He was always happy and loved everyone.  He always had hopes and dreams that were larger than life.  Erik showed pride in everything he did and always wanted everyone to be proud of him.  He was 100% engaged in every activity he focused on. Erik exhibited love for his life, his family, and his friends. A visitation will be held at Trinity Funeral Services on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 2:00PM with a service to follow at 3:00 PM  for family and friends. Interment will follow at a later date at Wolfe River Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to your favorite charity in memory of Erik.
