Emmett Marcus Kynard, Jr.

Emmett Marcus Kynard, Jr., passed away on September 16, 2019 in Gulfport, MS.  Mark was born to Emmett Marcus Sr. and Helen Louise (Podon) Kynard on May 18, 1956 in New Mexico.  Mark's dad was in the Service and when he retired, he planted the family on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and Mark has called it his home ever since.  He met his soulmate and best friend in Elementary School.  Little did they know they would spend their life together.  They married in 1976 and the rest is history in the books.  They shared many happy times.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and swimming, but his true passion was golfing.  He made a career as a mechanic on a golf course in Bay St. Louis.  Mark loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life.  He had a kind spirit; always willing to help a friend in need.  Mark was just an all-around good guy who was loved and will be missed beyond measure.  His last unselfish contribution to this world was to donate his body to science for the greater good of mankind.  He is preceded in death by his parents: siblings, Robert, Steven and infant sister.  He is survived by his best friend, Becky Hight.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Simply Church on Hwy 53 with Brother Brian High officiating.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to assist Mark’s family during this difficult time and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
