Elsie Patricia Daniels

Elsie Patricia Daniels, born on July 13, 1934, in the paradise of Hawaii, gracefully departed this world on January 10, 2026. She leaves behind an enduring legacy etched into the hearts and lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. With a spirit as vibrant as the islands she hailed from, Elsie dedicated 64 years of her life to her beloved husband, Cecil (Gene) Daniels, offering unwavering support, love, and companionship.

Elsie was a woman of many talents and passions. In her remarkable journey, she delighted not only in the art of hula dancing—a skill that she lovingly shared with family and friends, teaching them the graceful movements that flowed like the gentle waves of her native shores—but also found joy in her steadfast devotion to her church life, standing steadfastly beside her husband, a devoted pastor. Her faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her actions and enriching the lives she touched.

A proud advocate for the simple joys in life, Elsie embraced the world with a spirited sense of adventure. She loved traveling, journeying to new places that filled her heart with wonder. Whether camping beneath a starry sky or casting her line into tranquil waters, she found solace and joy in nature’s embrace. A culinary magician, she seemed to have a unique ability to transform ordinary ingredients into outstanding meals, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for family gatherings and celebrations.

Elsie is remembered not just for her hobbies and interests, but also for her incredible sense of humor and ability to keep everyone around her smiling. Among her proudest accomplishments was keeping her husband in line, a testimony to the strong bond and partnership they shared throughout their decades together.

She is survived by her cherished husband, Cecil (Gene) Daniels; stepdaughter, Tammy Jean Daniels; and sister, Margaret White, who will carry her memory forward, treasuring the lessons learned and love given throughout their lives together.

Elsie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Sarah Silva, and her siblings, Audrey, Doloris, Viola, and Donald. She is also reunited with her children, Douglas Morraria, Leslie Morraria, and Billy Simpson, who she loved deeply.

As we reflect on the life of Elsie Patricia Daniels, we are reminded of her warmth, charisma, and the unwavering love she shared with everyone around her. While she may have departed from this world, her spirit and memories will forever dance in our hearts, a beautiful hula that will never fade away.
