She was the eldest of three children, born September 1, 1948 in Batesville, MS to Peter and Mary Etta (Westbrook) Ulrich. Elizabeth Grew up in Beaver, PA and was a homebody from the start. She enjoyed staying at home, reading a book or sewing when nothing good was on tv. She graduated from Beaver High School in 1965 and attended come college classes there in PA, but received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Ole Miss in the early 70s. Elizabeth went to work as an administrative secretary, and though she worked for a couple different companies, she remained in that field until her retirement from the aerospace industry. In her life, Elizabeth focused on her career and home while continuing to enjoy her role as "Big Sis". She read a lot, watched her favorite shows on tv, and was happiest around her home. She is remembered as a loving, caring sister and wife, and will be deeply missed by all whose life she touched. Elizabeth was preceded by her parents, Peter & Mary Etta Ulrich and both husbands, John Bowman and John Head.
