Elisa Jane (Newsome) Johnson

Elisa Jane Johnson, 55, passed away on December 05, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Elisa was born on September 09, 1967 to Dewey Newsome and Louie Graham Davis. Elisa was born and raised in south Mississippi. She enjoyed taking walks and spending time at the creek with her family. Elisa was the nicest person you could ever meet. She was very kind and funny and would always let people know what was on her mind. Her love for her family and pets were unmatched. Elisa will always be in the hearts of those her life has touched. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, she will be missed dearly. Elisa is preceded in death by her loving her parents, Louie Davis and Dewey Newsome, and one daughter, Tina Johnson. Left to cherish her memories is her loving husband of 25 years, Joel Michael Madden; children, Kelly (Kimberly) Johnson, and Michael Johnson; sister, Elisabeth (Derek) Weaver; aunt, Margaret Walley; uncle, Dock Robinson Jr.; grandsons, Rylan Cade Boyer and Benjamin Zane Johnson; nieces, Haley Weaver, Hanna Weaver, Katlyn Weaver; nephew, Derek Weaver and one great-nephew, Kenric Smiley.
