Edward J. Smith

Edward J. Smith (74) of the Leetown Community, Lumberton passed at Forrest General Hospital on Monday November 27, 2017. He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother Leonard David and Sally May Smith, Four Brothers- Robert, Buddy, John, and David Smith, one sister Jessie Smith, one daughter Helen Kay Smith. He is survived by his spouse Helen Smith, one son Leonard Joseph Smith(Hope), one daughter Helen Gay Smith Landrum(Scott), one brother Jim Smith, one sister Ginny Smith, five Grand-children Robert, Jeremy, Leonard Jr, and Katie Smith along with Tonya Landrum, and numerous Nieces Nephews and Great-Grand Children. Edward was a hard-working man that believed in hard work and supporting his Family. Visitation will be Saturday Dec.2, 2017 10:00- 12:00 followed by Funeral Service at the Leetown Holiness Church. With internment to follow at the Union Grove Cemetery. Mr. Edward will be sorely missed.
