Edith Earline Fadden, 93 of Lumberton, went home to heaven August 11th, 2022 from her home. Edith was born on August 09, 1929 in Gulfport, and grew up in South Mississippi. She worked for many years as a scrub nurse in the operating room. A Christian woman with a deep love for the Lord Jesus, she attended Hickory Grove Baptist Church for many years. She was a hard working, loving mother and friend to many that will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Edith was preceded by her mother, Annie Reed; her late husband, Dean Fadden; her son John Stewart, and her daughter Phyllis Stewart. Left to cherish her memories are: her children: one son, Elam (Susan) Stewart of Lumberton, MS, and daughters Nell Triplett and Charlotte Cuevas. Edith also leaves a number of extended family and friends through the years. At her specific direction, Edith was laid to rest with a simple, private ceremony, held at graveside in the McHenry Oaklawn Cemetery, beside her late husband. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Stewart family in their time of need, and asks that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
