Saucier

Dustin Scott Crawford, affectionately known to his friends and family as "Crawdaddy," left this world unexpectedly on June 7, 2025, in Saucier, Mississippi, at his home.  Dustin was born in Jackson, MS, on October 9, 1989, to his parents, Tanya Johnson and Bryan Reeter.  Dustin's life was marked by his vibrant personality and tenacious spirit.  He was a proud graduate of the Stone High School class of 2008,  where his passion for sports shone brightly as he excelled on the football field. His athletic ability led him to further his education and football career at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC), where he earned his Associate's Degree.  Throughout life, Dustin demonstrated an impressive work ethic, contributing many years at Hood Industries, skillfully working on cell phone towers, and various construction sites; his dedication and hard work were admired by all who worked alongside him. His love for the outdoors matched Dustin's zest for life; he was an avid fisherman and hunter, cherishing the times spent in the tranquility of nature. But nothing compared to the joy he found while watching his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide and New Orleans Saints, where his enthusiasm and support were unwavering.  The center of Dustin's world was his cherished daughter, Kinsley "Crawbaby" Crawford. His joy was palpable when he shared precious moments with her, creating lasting memories that will continue to guide and comfort her as she grows. Dustin, our beloved Crawdaddy, will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His laughter, love, and the joy he brought to every moment will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones. Though he has departed from this world, his legacy will remain, perpetuated by the tales of his adventures, the echoes of his laughter, and the loving bonds he nurtured with family and friends. Dustin Scott Crawford's story does not end here, for he has left an indelible mark that will never be forgotten. Dustin is lovingly remembered by his family, who feel his absence deeply. He is preceded in death by his mother, Tanya Johnson; his father, Bryan Reeter; his stepdad, Buddy Bond; one sister, Ashley Bond; and two uncles, Kenneth "Peanut" and Larry "Peewee" Young. Dustin leaves behind his beloved daughter, Kinsley "Crawbaby" Crawford; his sister, Chasity Anderson; his grandmother, Liz Moran; two aunts, Ethel Ladner and Gladys Lee; and one uncle, Leslie Varnado.  Dustin leaves a legacy of numerous friends, many cousins, and a community that will forever cherish his memory.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Crawford family during this time and would ask that you remember Kinsley and the rest of his family in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
