Dru Garrett Hacker

Dru Garrett Hacker, 32, departed this life just two days short of his thirty-third birthday, from his home in Wiggins. He was born March 9, 1988 in Cincinnati, OH, the oldest of three children to the late Charles Parlier and Monica Thompson. Growing up in Cincy, Dru was an avid skateboarder in his younger years. He also enjoyed football, video games, and was a pretty good pencil artist. He was direct and to the point, which left most that didn't truly know him thinking he was rude, to put it politely. But he was a loving son and grandson, as well as a trusted friend to many. Dru had several hobbies that sometimes changed with the wind. He enjoyed drawing, working with wood, painting and building things. He is fondly remembered as a "pain in the posterior" at times, but he was dearly loved by his family. Though it may not have seemed so, Dru was a caring person that enjoyed teasing his nieces and nephews. Outspoken and protective, Dru will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.  He was preceded by his father, Charles Parlier and his maternal great-grandfather, David Hacker. Left to cherish his memories are: his mother, Monica Thompson and his grandmother who thought of him as her own, Doris hacker, both of Wiggins; two sisters, Destini and Bre-ana Hacker, also of Wiggins; uncles David (Missy) Hacker, Steven Hacker, and Richard (Julie) Hacker, all of Ohio, along with numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. His wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Hacker family in their time of need, asking everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers through this very difficult time.
