Mr. Douglas Cameron Lee, II, 32 and originally from the Sunflower community, passed away September 26, 2018 at his residence in Grenada, MS. Cameron was born Oct. 16, 1985 in Gulfport, the middle of three children to Doug & Judy (Windham) Lee. He grew up in the Sunflower community, and was an energetic, outgoing young man. He loved to fish and hunt, played most sports, and as the first male grandchild, Cameron was his Pawpaw's "Scooter". As a country boy, he enjoyed the outdoors and riding 4-wheelers, and from an early age, had always wanted to be a game warden. He was a 2004 graduate of Stone High School, and attended MGCCC in Perk. Cameron was saved at a young age, and baptized at Faithview Baptist Church in Saucier. He did have his struggles in life as we all do, but is at peace today. Cameron is remembered as a loving brother who did agitate his little sister whenever possible. A definite "momma's boy", he will be fondly remembered, and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded by his grandmothers, Anne Marie Windham and Geneva Lee. Left to cherish his memories are his children, sons Hunter Lee and Landon Williams; his loving parents, Doug and Judy Lee; sisters Amanda (Mike) Thrall of ID and Kaylan (Kendal) Nobles of Petal, MS; his grandfathers, Jerry Don Windham and Robert Lee, Sr; a niece, Jane Lee; and his wife, Brandi Williams Lee. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday morning, October 4th, at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary of Faithview Baptist Church in Saucier. The funeral service will begin at 11, with interment to follow at Seals Cemetery in Carnes. Please keep the Lee family in your thoughts and prayers during this trying time.
