Doris Ellen Easley, 63, passed away on December 26th at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. She was born on December 08, 1958 in New Orleans, LA, the youngest of five children to Otto and Rachel (Mosley) Page. She grew up in the Silver Run community in Western Stone County. She was a momma's girl for sure but loved playing outdoors with her siblings. Doris loved to cook, which she learned from her mother, and came to enjoy plants, flowers and making floral arrangements. She attended Stone county schools before getting married and moving off to Lumberton as a teenager. Doris raised her four children and took care of the home, always making sure the house was clean and there was always something to eat. She stayed busy and worked in housekeeping at the motel in Hillsdale. Doris was a kind-hearted, humble lady who never wanted to be a burden to anyone. She enjoyed listening to Christian music and read her Bible most every day. Her family was so important to her, and Doris loved them all no matter what. Her affection was evident as she referred to most everybody as "Baby". She will be forever loved and missed by all whose life she touched. Doris was preceded in death by her mother Rachel Cruthirds and her father, Otto Page, and her loving husband Robert Easley earlier this year. Left to cherish her memories are: her four children, sons Garon (Ashley) Seal of Poplarville, Keith Easley, and daughters Ashley and Jennifer Easley, all of Lumberton; her brother Ray Pate of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, and sisters Joyce (J.B.) Dedeaux of Silver Run, Janice (George) Rogers of Pistol Ridge, and Debra (Hugh) Lee of Lumberton. She leaves a legacy of twelve grandchildren: Garrett, Nicholas, Nathan, Natty, Natalie, Anna, Kaydon, Kahlia, Kameron, Kenarreo Jr., Jeremiah and Bentley, with three great-grands: Chase, Lane and Jazlyn, along with numerous extended family members, friends and neighbors through the years. Her final wishes were to be cremated, which the family is honoring. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Funeral Services' Lumberton location, with Bro. Tommy Jones officiating, with details forthcoming when possible. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Easley family in their time of need and asks everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
