Mrs. Doretha Ann Silkwood

Mrs. Doretha Ann Silkwood, 52 of Gulfport, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2018. She was born June 29, 1966 in Gulfport, the 2nd of 4 children to Carl Edward & Nelda Jean (Legg) Barger. Doretha grew up and spent her entire life in the Gulfport area. She was a free-spirited young lady from the start, and lived a "care-free" life style. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded by her parents, Carl & Nelda Jean Barger. Left to cherish her memories are: her husband, Clem Arnold; three sons, Danny and Jonathan Storie, and Shane Silkwood; her sister, Angela Stewart of TX, and brothers Carl Barger, Jr. of Gulfport and Michael Barger of TX, along with many extended family and friends. As her husband served in the US Army, Doretha will be laid to rest at Biloxi National Cemetery on Thursday, November 15th at 12:30 PM. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Silkwood family, and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
